Do you want to make $1000 fast? We all want to earn as much as possible and as quickly as possible. There’s no getting around the fact that in order to earn a really great deal you either have to be incredibly lucky or spend a lot of time doing it. But we’re only human and sometimes we want to make something fast and relatively easy.
Below I have described some side hustles that I recommend, but beware: if you choose only one method you may not be able to earn $1000 in a month (for example, by choosing only surveys). Usually you need about 2-3 of the following side hustles (or other).
And one important thing: it is not another post full of affiliate marketing links – meaning I get nothing if you click anything. 😊 I don’t cooperate with any of the recommended websites.
1. FOCUS GROUPS
Focus groups are one of the market research methods. Basically you get paid by giving your insights about the products or topics. Here are some examples where you can find focus groups:

How much can you earn? It depends on the website. Some focus groups can give you even more than $100 per hour. But usually I can see people making up to $ 300-500 monthly.
To increase your chances of being picked for a focus group, remember to provide some at least basic information about you. Usually the companies are looking for people by specific criterias.
2. SURVEY APPS
I guess that this is the most popular side hustle. It is because it is easy and simple. You won’t earn much money from it (probably around $100-200 a month) but if you need money fast, you can try it.

As with the focus groups, in this case you will also need to provide some basic information about you first. The more you give, the best chances are that you will be profiled for a survey.
The best thing about it is that you can do it in your free time – when you travel to your work, waiting in a line, watching a movie.
3. RESELLING CLOTHES ON VINTED
Reselling stuff is one of my favourite side hustle because it is easy and if you are creative you can earn quite a lot of money. And honestly? I know people who are making 6-figures out of it. They started small but over the years they builded companies that are reselling stuff all over the country.
But let’s talk about something easier at first. Buying second hand clothes has become more and more popular lately. People are using Facebook Market or Vinted to buy their clothes and save money.
So what you can do is to buy some clothes that are in good shape, take nice photos of them and sell them with a profit!
How much can you earn? Well it is totally up to you. I made around $400 from reselling stuff last month.
4. MYSTERY SHOPPING
Mystery shopping can be a great way to earn extra money. It is basically being paid for pretending to be a customer and then giving your honest opinion about the service, products and experiences.
Mystery shoppers are assigned specific tasks or scenarios by the market research company. This can include visiting a particular store, making a purchase, asking specific questions, or engaging in certain interactions with employees.

5. FIND A WEEKEND JOB
Finding a weekend job as a side hustle can be a great way to earn extra income while maintaining your regular weekday job or other commitments.
First, consider your skills, experience, and interests to determine the type of weekend job that aligns with your abilities and preferences. This will help you narrow down your search and find opportunities that you find fulfilling.

6. FREELANCE WRITER
If you are good at writing this side hustle may be perfect for you. And if you are not – don’t worry. It is all a matter of practice.

7. TEACH ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Many of my readers are native English speakers. So you may not know that but people from all over the word are looking for native speakers to talk to them. For example my sister is using Italki to learn English. The price for one lesson is $5-$30.
What is important is that you don’t have to be a teacher. Many people are looking for just a native speaker (or someone advanced at English) that they can talk to from time to time to get more comfortable at speaking English.
And if you know any other language you can use it too!
8. VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
Virtual assistants are becoming more and more popular, because most businesses are growing fast on social media and people need someone to help them to organize the process, reply to the comments or DM’s or do many other things.
If you have no idea how to start, first it would be a good idea to find a free (or paid) course. You can learn from Skillshare, Youtube or Udemy how to become a virtual assistant.
Then you need to find your clients on:

- Upwork
And you need to be patient. At first you will probably won’t charge a lot for your work, as you will be learning and you won’t have any portfolio.
How much can you earn? It depends on how many clients you have and what your experience is. After a few months it is possible to earn more than $1000 a month.
9. SELLING DIGITAL PRODUCTS
That is actually the most difficult side hustle from my list as it requires some time to find customers. First you need to sign up on Canva (free Canva is enough, but you can also get the Pro version). Canva is very intuitive and of course at first it may appear complicated but trust me – it is really easy, mostly a drag and drop tool. If you need more help with Canva, you check out their tutorials here or find it on youtube. Then you need to find out what you are going to create and sell. Here are some ideas for you:

- Wedding or other events invitations (you can sell editable projects)

Where can you sell your digital products?
As I said before, it is not easy to start. You may not see the results for months! But if you are consistent and patient you will get there. Here are some tips from me:
- Do your research – if you want to start selling your products for example on Etsy – read about it, google it, learn from Youtube tutorials. The topics you may want to search are how to find your niche, how to find products that are in demand, SEO, and so on.
- Promote your online shop – You need to drive traffic to your shop. Most often than not you will need either Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok or a blog to drive traffic.
- Be consistent – publish lots of products because usually from 100 of your digital templates only 2 or 3 will be the ones that will bring you income. But to find out that you need to create and learn from your mistakes.
How much can you earn by selling digital products? It depends. At first you will earn nothing or little but over time it can be a few thousand dollars.
